Dear MUN Directors, Aspiring Delegates, Student Officers, and Esteemed Guests,

It is with great excitement and pride that we introduce the inaugural edition of Wasmun, hosted at the heart of Wassenaar by a dedicated team of students from across the region.

As the first ever edition of this conference, Wasmun 2025 aims to establish itself as a space for inclusive, ambitious, and globally-minded diplomacy. Designed with both new and experienced delegates in mind, Wasmun will offer not only high-quality debate across a wide range of committees, but also training workshops and accessible procedural guidance to support all participants—especially those taking their first steps into the world of Model United Nations.

Our theme, “Facing Fault Lines: Diplomacy in an Era of Global Division,” reflects our belief that MUN is more than a simulation—it’s a platform for learning, understanding, and challenging the world we live in.
